A member of the Massey College senior fifteen, he has also played twice this season in the Manawatu Reps. * * * Mr W. Marrett, to whose court■esy and co-operation the Times is indebted for its weeldy summary of Taupo weather, was unfortunate enough in an unguarded movement to get his thumb in the way of a circular saw when replenishing the family wood-box. It looked at first as if he would lose the thumb altogether, but according to latest reports from Rotorua Hospital he may still have it, though possibly in a less supple condition than before. * * *
