In our report of Ihe last meeting of the Town Board, under the heading R.S.A. Send-Off," it was made to appear that the board had been asked for a monetary contriibution to these functions. This was not correct. Actually, what the R.iS.A. had suggested was that the board should undertake the arranging of farewells by a committee. The board decided that these matters were properly for public effort on the lines of the Patriotic Society of the last 2 wars.
