OUR NEW SERVICE

As our readers were made aware in our inaugural issue the Taupo Times was planned on the basis of co-operative service all round. May we remind our public that news items, personal notes, social news, and reports of meetings sent in by duly appointed press seeretaries, will be published free of charge. In the case of meetings, all that is fneeded is a report stating where the meeting was held, and when; if a committee, those present; the business discussed; the decisions arrived at, Some local institutions, notably the Businessmen's Association, have responded admirably and efficiently. We take this opportunity of thanking the executive.
