A .CYNICS COMMENT Sir, — May I be permitted, per medium of your colu'mn, to make & suggestion ? I suggest that Lak® Taupo be reserved solely for the purpose of racing speed boats. Anyway I am sure there are no fish i& the lake — I know, cause I tried all Easter to catch one. — I am, etc., "WHIZZ BANG." TO THE EDITOR Sir, — -We put up with lamplightr we put up with rain water, we put up with the dust off the Taupo roads* now it seems we must put up with the whims of our new caretaker of the A. C. Baths, when he refuses us the privilege of washing our dusty torsos, because he wants an early night, We put up with the baths as they are, because we know we are getting new ones, but it seems our good nature is to be imposed upon when we are refused admittance at 9.10 p.m. He wonT put up with us, so we go.
