A bogey rn'atch was played by the men during the week-end and some good scores were recorded with the' result that several handicaps were reduced, The best scores handed in, were: — • L. Stephenson, all square. V. Wilson, 1 down. E. M. §mith, 2 down. . T. Price and A. Graham, 3 down. P. Brown and D. Neame, 4 down. The ladies bogey match played on Thursday, was won by Miss Brruson. 3 down, Miss McKelvie and Mrs Bush were 4 down. On Sunday, April 6, the Hrst round of the President's Trophy was played. This match runs through the sesason, and' the four best medal rounds out of the six, are counted for "the trophy. Despite the dry conditions, the cours'® was playing wpll The best scores recorded were: — C. Vedder, 89, 19-70. P, Brown, 81, 10-71. P. Quinn, 96, 24-72. H. Hullten, 91, 19-72. D. Neame, 84, 11-73. W. George, 97, 24-73. i J, Woodward, 85, 12-73. The ladies played a s nior and junior Stableford Bogey on April 10 and the best scores were: — MrsBergelin and Mjss Branson . 37„ Miss Orr and Mrs Bush 35. Mrs Graham and Miss McKelvie 35.
