FOR PEDESTRIANS

Sir, — May one ask why is it the Town Board does not arrange for a pedestrian traek or foot path to be made on the roads in Taupo? The roads at present, with the growth of broom etc., are little more than twocars in width, and folk, especially children who have to walk find it very difficult and- mosj; unpleasant As is known the pumice dust is inches thick and when a car or truck passes and we are enveloped in a cloud of dust we have the uncomfortable feeling that another vehicle may come along and being unable to see will strike us in passing. May we hope that very soon something will be done to make walking safer and a little more pleasant. — I am, etc.,

A.

WALKER.
