Since Sunday last heavy .South West winds, reaching gale force at times, have made lake fishing ipipossible, and the delta has been deserted. A few hardy sorts have braved the wind to troll in Stump Bay, The river fishing has also suffered, and those who have visited the various pools report poor bags. The river is very low and plenteous rain would do much good.
