Students of Village Life in England
One of the most fortunate groups of Colonial students in the United Kingdom this Christmas was given a unique opportunity to study British viliage life. A dozen students from the Gold Coast, Jamaica, Trinidad, Mauritius, the United States, Switzerland and Burma, first spent Christmas as the guests of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Lee at their fine country home in Kent, and went on to the historic Sussex viliage of Northiam, with its lovely Elizabethan manor, to share with the viliage people tbbiir daily way of life in a small community whose roocs go back through the centuries of Britisn history. Perhaps one of the most Tmportant aspects of these arrangements resides in the many close personal Imks which are thus established between people in Britain and peoples throughout the world, friendships which often last a lifetime. The colonial student also enjoys the broadening experience of living for a week with students of other countries.
