OUR BUMPY ROADS

Sir, — May I add to your criticism of our bumpy roads in your last issue. This I entirely endorse. Is there any reason why some of them should be made even worse by the passage of bulldozers fitted with steel-cogged wheel rims ? I noticed one yesterday going along one of our streets enroute to a job of work, and making a fine mess of the road surface. Wouuld that be permitted anywhere else ? — I am. etc., "SEARCH ME."
