TURANGI

Guests at the Bridge Lodge include Admiral Sir E. and Lady Parry, vice-admiral Hickling and his sister Mrs Corbett of Havelock North; Members of the Prisons' Board, who have been visiting Hantu and Romqipo Prison Farms. Mr Justice Finlay, Dr Grey, Professor Marsh, Lt. Col. Bennett, Mr B. Dallard, Sir Donald McGavin and Mr Mabin, were also at the Bridge Lodge. The river fishing has been very poor and few anglers are about. The recent rain may help to improve matters. Taylor's Fishing Lodge has changed hands, Mr and Mrs J. Storey, the new proprietors taking over on April 1.
