Mr and Mrs P. N. R. MacDonald together with Mr and Mrs Bill Prince of Karaka, Papakura, and their much-travelled friend Rata have been staying at their holiday residence in Waiariki Road. * * * We understand that an Auckland dentist has purchased property on the Lake Front and will be commencing practice here in a few months' time. * * * Mr Ted. Pearce has been enjoying a week's fishing at Coromandel. * * ' * Countess Wodzicka has returned to Wellington after spending a week in her Taupo Retreat. * * * Miss Phyllis Oldham (and French Poodle "Kim") have returned to Taihape after relaxing at her holiday cottage in Rifle Range Road. * * * It is with regret we learn that "Battling Bill" is leaving the Taupo Branch of the Bank of New Zealand and returning to Rotorua. * * * Mrs C. J . McKinnon has returned to Taupo after a holiday spent in Lower Hutt. * * *
