Sir, — Why is the Taupo Public Library open onlv on waek-days hetween the hours 10 a.m. and 12 noon j and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. These extremely limited hours debar many of the Tau- | po working population from ever using the library, which contains many excellent books. I should think that if the library wer'e opened one or two evenings a week the increased patronage woulcl amply repay the increased expense involved. — I am, etc,
