(To the Editor). Sir,- — Dust! Ach! The bigger and newer the car — the great er the hurry— No care at intersections— only one thought in mind — "Speed !" Not even the courtesy to slow down when passing pedestrians or cyclists, let alone a woman pushing a pram. And wbat. about the Hospital? — 1 What Hospital ?Many of the motorists do not realfse it is there — ohers do not care. They are not sitting up in a. littie wbite bed — they are in a hurry — nothing else matters! Thepe are some who say it is best to speed up on washingboard roads — the bumps are less noticeable. But until the time comes when our main roads are paved surely a littie consideration could be granted to those in hospital, and those who depend on Shanks* ponies for their locomotion. — I am, stc.,
