A PUZZLED READER

"QUIET HOMES."

Sir, — It appears somewhat extraordinary that our local picture theatre does not advertise its programmes in the "Taupo Times". Unless one peers into shop windows, or perambulates past the Lake Hotel Site, one has not the slightest inkling of "what cooks" # at the Theatre. Would it not be of great benefit to local picture-goers and their visitors. to be able to study the movie programmes in their own lamplight, instead of having to rely upon notice-boards and the memory of their neighbour — I am etc.,

[The "Taupo Times" will be pleased to publish advertised programmes for showing at the local Cinema whenever the proprietor of the theatre deems it to be due to the public to do so.^ — Editor.]
