CORRECTION
Various circumstances, unforeseen, contributed to make the last hours of going to press rather a hectic experience for the Taupo Times first edition. 'The evidence of this is revealed in sorne misprints, one of which it becomes necessary to point i out and correet. It occurs in the j front page summary of the Taupo Hydro EleetriA Power Scheme, where the original estimate of the cost, as printed, appears as £28,000, whereas the figure should read £82,000. The error was corrected after the major part of the edition had been printed. We would like here to ucknow1 ledge, gratefully the co-operation and assistance rendered by Mr V. G. Boulton, Managing Director and the staff of the "Waikato Independent." The difficulty encountered were of the kind usuaily assoclated with the ! holiday pdriod and consequent staff shortages, and that these were I surmounted was largely due to • , their efforts.
