TAUPO RATEPAYERS' ASSOCIATION
Preliminary steps were taken on October 2 last to form a Taupo Ratepayers A(ssociation. The meeting was held at the Majestic Theatre, and was very well attended. The principle object of tihe association, it was stated, was to cooperate through its committee with the Town Board for the improvernent and betterment of Taupo. A provisional committee wa selected to draft rules and a constitution for the association. These will be submitted to a general meeting to be held at Rickets Hall on Wednesday, January 23 next, at 8 p.m.
