We shall be at all times willing to insert any communications that we may be lavored with, but we do not hold ourselves responsible for tlie opinions expressed therein. To the Eilitor of the Tauakanga Ar'gus. Sir, — Although a little disappointed that as yet no attention is paid to my hint in reference to Public Recreation Grounds. I again venture to solicit the good people of Tauranga to convene together for the purpose of supporting the Auckland Acclim^tisatipn Society. Indeed I would humbly recommend di trict societies or branches through the whole country for the support of this most laudable object, " For I dinna ken the Browni wi its tassels on the lea. Or hear the birdies song in my ain conntrie."
