Thb mine manager of the Bising Sun Gold Mining Company, Ltd., reports for the week ending 11th December, as follows:—The contractors hare driven 10 feet during the week making a total in all of 568 feet. The country is slightly harder. With the approach of the ’Xmas and New Year holidays preparations are being made for the temporary closing down of the mines through* out this and the Ohinemuri dis* tricts.
