To Our Lady Friends : RECIPIES. Spice Seones 1 lb. flour ; \ lb. butter ; \ teacup of golden syrup ; 1 teacup of milk ; a little mixed spice and cinnamon; 2 teaspoons baking powder. Warm butter, golden syrup and milk together and mix. Divide into large-sized scones and bake in moderate oven.
