Yachting Accidents
London, Movember 18. The “ Varuna,” a splendidly equipped steam yacht belonging to Mr Eugene Higgins welKknown American millionaire banker, has been wrecked at Madeira. Higgins and his friends narrowly escaped bemg drowned. Col. J. J. Aster, aboard the steam yacht “Nourmahal,” one of the finest vessels of her class in the world, has been missing since the Jamaica hurricane. Several revenue cutters are now out searching the Jamaica coast for traces of her.
