Irish Land Bill
London, November 18. As a result of the Conference of front benches, the House of Lords agreed not to insist on its amendments to the Irish Land Bill- The Government yielded many points, but voted against the amendment to Clause 65, providing tor the creation of an independent tribunal to hear appeals against compulsory acquisi-* tion.
Lord Lansdowne stated that this was a vital point which still remains unsettled,
