Lord Curzon and the Budget
London, November. 4 Lord Curzon, in a letter io the Times protests against the attempt to exploit a political manoeuvre (Budget) by such shameless devices as an alleged interview between a notoriously hysterical journalist and spirits of the illustrious departed. J. A, Pease, Junior Lord of the Treasury, states that if the Lords reject the Budget, the election will be held early in January.
