Dairying in Piako.

As showing the rapid growth of dairying in the Piako the following figures relating to the Te Aroha Dairying Company’s factory, situated at Waihou, are interesting. For the month of October the output was 70 boxes of butter daily, and 107,7341bs of milk was received dajly, while for October of last year the quantity received wgs 73,01filbs, the increase thus being 34,718 lbs daily. Mr M. O’Grady is at present the largest supplier with 21201b5, Mr John Leonard coming next with 2080 lbs. Owing to the tendency to closer settlement which Is manifesting itself in the district, it is confidently anticipated that tho operations of this factory will bo greatly extended in the near future.
