The River Claims.

WARDEN’S DECISION. COMPANY TO APPEAL. The Paeroa-Waihi Gold Extraction Company, Limited, has given notice of its intention to appeal against the decision of the Warden in connection with the recent application by the company for certain conditions on its river claims’ licenses to bo removed. It will be remembered that the Warden dechned to grant the company’s application on the ground that the Warden had no power to vary or remove a condition subject to which a license for a mining privilege has been granted and issued. The company is not satisfied with the decision and has given notice of its intention to appeal to tho Supreme Court.
