Waitoa Drainage.

MEETING TO-NIGHT. Our readers at Waitoa, especially tbps.e who are ratepayers of the Waitoa Drainage Board, are reminded that & most jrpppftapt meeting is called for to night in the Waitoa schoolroom. The object is to pick candidates who will support having a classification made, and an editable systemjof rating instituted, so that a pettier will pay for the benefit derived. Those interested have now a chance to nominate men who will deal justly with this vexed question. After a year in office the outgoing Board has proved quite unworkable, owing to a great extent to want of tact on the part the present Chairman, who had every opportunity to do a great service to a most dje&eryiflg section of our settler*.
