A Wesley a Morman.

Howabd Wesley, a lineal descendant of John Wesley, founder of Methodism, and his wife have joined the Mormon Church. Young Wesley and his wife were both prominent in Howard Methodist Church, where they taught classes in the Sunday School. Last fall missionaries visited the Wesley home and talked to Mrs Wesley. She listened, and despite the protests of her mother and friends she joined the Church, being immersed in the Detroit Biver at the Belle Isle by two elders last November. * The missionaries then attacked Wesley, and it was only a few weeks before he too withdrew from the denomination that his relative founded and became a Mormon.

Mrs Wesley’s mother says she •would rather see her daughter dead.
