Foley and Burton's Pictures.
As advertised elsewhere the above company will appear in the Public Hall, Te Aroha, on Tuesday, October 12. A special feature of the entertainment will be a film of great interest depicting the chief scenes in the life of Napoleon in the series of pictures taken by M. Charley, of the Theatre Antonie, Paris. Critics have paid this actor the compliment of saying his portrayal of the part is perfect. The scenery is captivating, the costumes are true to the age, and altogether the production lacks nothing of what should go to the making of a perfect presentation of the subject. Fred Foley will appear in a new programme of magic aDd ventriloquism, and Mr A. Lupton will introduce new illustrated songs. The company carry a complete and reliable electric light plant for the projection of the electric pictures* Under the able supervision of Mr W. Burton (late TaylorCarrington pictures) the show is bound to be successful.
