HARD MILKERS MADE EASY.
!fiß trouble which causes cows to be :nown as hard milkers (states an Lmerican authority) is due to an ablormal contraction of muscle at the eat. It oftentimes reduces the value f a cow, as no one wishes to purchase r own, what is termed a bad milker, f stock-owners knew how easily this rouble could be overcome, they would tever think of disposing of a hard lilker at a sacrifice. The mere fact hat the cow is a hard milker does not adicat9 that she is not a good milker; >ut owing to the fact that she is a ard milker, she is oftentimes negscted at milking time by a disgusted lilker, who leaves a large quantity a her udder that should have been rawn out. Stockmen who know how o handle such cases, usually buy valable cows, owing to the fact that aey are hard milkers, and by the use f the teat plug and treatment, cause hem to become splendid, easy milkers, hereby increasing their value many lore times than the cost of the treatlent. A milking tube should never e used in such cases, as there is too mch danger of infection, and the esults are not as good as from the se of the teat plug.
