Defence Delegate “Farewelled.”
London, September 30. Colonel Foxton, Australia’s Defence Delegate, was tendered a farewell luncheon at the United Service Club. Mr R. B. Haldane (War Secretary), and several London editors were present. Mr Reginald McKenna (First Lord of the Admiralty) regretted his inability to be present, and acknowledged the obligations Colonel Foxton’s assistance rendered throughout the Defence Conference.
