Capetown, September 21 Mr Merriman, (Cape Premier), replying to a dep itation from the Cham* ber of Commerce, said that he hesitated to increase the number of lights on the Cape Cuast, fearing it might stimulate reckless navigation: Ee promised to consider the question.
