Steamer Ashore

London, September 16. The Bullard King Co’s steamer “ Umhlali,” bound from London to Port Natal, ran ashore at Cape Point. One of the Union Castle liners sent boats off and rescued some of the passengers. A heavy sea was running at the time. One of the boats fronja the wrecked steamer overturned, 11 lives being lost.
