Death Sentence Passed.
Perth, September 14. Martha Kendall, who has been found guilty of the murder of the child Arthur Morris, has been sentenced to death. Thomas Mor.ls, father of the child, was found not guilty. [Three children of Morris, who were living v\ Ith Mrs Kendall, died at interval? a year ago The eldest son, a lad of fourteen, declared they had been poisoned. On the bodies being exhumed traces of oxalic acid were found. inquest it was proved that frequent-sales of spirits of salts had been mack to Mrs Kendall, who was chargecLwich murder, Morris being charged as accessory.— Editor.]
