There is every prospect of anticipations being realized at Waiorongomai. The prospects continue favourable.
The manager of the Bendigo mine Te Aroha, reports that he has continued driving north on the Silver King reef, and the oro broken is of high grade, more especially on the footwall side, where gold is showing amongst the mineral. Mr .W. Newsham is working away on the “Pick ” claim, and succeeded in getting some good stone This property promises well. x Waihi, Thursday. The north crosscut at No-5 level, in the Grsj|d Junction mine, is now out upwards of 40ft beyond the ore body recently passed through (generally referred to as the Martha reef), with country rock showing in the face. Nothing is being done in the drive at present.
