The New Hebrides.
Sydney, September 2. -James Burns, of Burns, Philp and Co., has returned from his tour to the New Hebrides. He says that the natives are decreasing so rapidly that it seems only a matter of time before the whole of the race wiU be wiped out, and the islands left solely to the white. Some of the islands, which five or s ; x years ago had 2,000 to 3,000 inhabitants, have now onty 500 or 60Q.
