Blackpool Aviation Meeting.
Paris, August 31. Eight of the aviators who competed at Rheims have offered to attend the projected aviation meeting at Blackpool in October. M. Bleiiot and Lieut. Latham are to compete at Wembleg, Middlesex, in October.
M. Hubert Latham goes to Berlin to fulfil engagements which will bring him in £8,750 sterliug ; while M. Bleriot goes to Vienna, where he will receive a total sum of £IO,OOO. The Committee which organised the Rheims week has £12,060 in hand as the result of the huge gate money receipts, and they have d .cided to repeat the fixture next year.
