Disquieting Rumours.
New York, August 31. There has been much gambling in New York for several days on rumours concerning E- H. Harrinan’s illness. Bailway stocks are now buoyant on Harriman issuing a statement that the surgeon’s examination disclosed the fact that no' thing serious is wrong with him, and that he only requires rest.
