Fatal Fire.

New York, August 31. A fire destroyed St. Malachi’s home at Jong Island last night. The flames spread through the building with amazing rapidity, and a number of the inmates were unable to make their escape. The bodies of seven children have already been recovered from the ruins. It is feared more perished.
