The Advance of Medical Science.
Paris, August 29. Dr. , Douen, of Paris, successfully transplanted a portion of an artery of a live sheep into the leg of a patient suffering from arterial aneurism, with the result that circr’ation was restored. This is the first instance in which a vessel of the lower animal has been transferred to man.
