Train Wreckers Foiled.
Calcutta, August 29. An attempt to wreck the East Indisn mail train at Jamalpur, by removing metal from the track, failed owing to the fact that workmen on a slow tram unexpectedly preceded the express. The workmen’s train was derailed, but the loss of life is not yet known.
