Found Dead.

Ashburton, August 13. The Police received word to-day that Mr William Rushton. farmer, residing at Springfield, was found dead in a paddock yesterday afternoon. The deceased was 50 years of age, and married, iDakgaville, August 13* An old age 'pensioner, named J. Mullins, was discovered dead in his whare at Awakiuo to-day. He had apparently been gdead a couple of days. The de* ceased was over 70 years of age, and bad served through the Maori War with the 18th Royal Irish.
