THe Home Budget.
London, August 12 There was again an all night sitting of the House of Commons on the Budget. The House exempted London squires from the undeveloped Land Tax, and increased size of gardens exempted to five acres, despite Radical opposition by 158 votes to 29. The Chancellor applied closure to 60 amendments in the singletax batch, including three of his own concessions.
