MR A. J. FARMER ELECTED,

The result of the annual elections for the Auckland Education Board, caused by the retirement by rotation of Messrs Ifarris, Bagnall, and Rairiball, has declared by the returning officer, Mp R. Crowe, as follows ;

NORTH WARD

In this ward Mr A. R. Harris, the present member, was the only candidate, and was declared duly elected.

EAST WARD,

For the East Ward Mr Bagnall, th e sitting member, was defeated by Mr A. J. Farmer by 70 votes, the voting being as follows ' A, J. Parmer ~ ~ 405 L. J. Bagnall .. .. .. 333 Informal.. .. .. .. 13
