London, August 3. THE weather was sunny and the wicket good when the match between Australia and South Wales was resumed at Cardiff. The attendance was Mfiuu. The Austrrlians in the first imntigs s.ored 271 in reply to the Home total of 228. The chief scores were Hartigan, 88 and McAlister 05. The innings lasted 225 mins. South Wales, in the second innings had lost five wickets for 83 runß when the stumps were drawn.
