Father Tyrrell’s Funeral.

THE POPE ANNOYED.

London, July 28. The “ Daily Chronicle ” declares that the authorities at the Vatican are greatly annoyed at the honour accorded the remains of the late Father Tyrrell. A number of eminent English Catholics, both clergy and laity, were present at the funeral, and all their names have been entered in the Black List.

[We had a Leading article on this matter in our issue of 27th, so that this cable is of special interest. —Ed.]
