Collision in the North Sea

London, July 20. In the House of Commons last night, Sir Reginald McKenna (First Lord of the Admiralty), replying to Mr A. H. Lee (Conser native member for Fareham), Said the submarines 11 and 17, which were in collision in the North Sea, were unprovided with safety helmets for enabling the crew to escape in the event of foundering. It would be im* possible, he continued, to supply all submarines before November. Mr Lee stated that the helmets were promised by May, 1908.
