A Sydney Tragedy.
WOMAN CHARGED WITH Murder,
Sydney, July 15. Letters written by Mrs Streit to Mrs Healey were read, wherein it was stated she loved deceased and was jealous of another woman with whom he was on friendly terms, adding that she told Healey she was heartbroken, and intended to kill herself. He asked to let him die with her. ’ The last letter, written on the day of the tragedy, said this woman was to blame for all. The deaths of herself and Healey would lie at her door. Mrs Streit was present in custody on the charge of murdering Healey.
