There is a feeling abroad that things Will shortly move at Waiorongomai. The quartz taken out at times is indeed likely looking stone, aud what is more encouraging, there is plenty of it, The managor of the Bendigo mine, Waiorongomai, reports that last week the drive was continued north on the Silver Ring reef. The ore broken showed a great improvement, there being considerably more sulphide showing, with a very rich seam on the footwall. Tho reef is fully 3ft wido in the present face, and is being saved for the full width.
