A RECORD WEEK.

TAKINGS OYER £3OO.

The Waikato Winter Show wns brought to a conclusion on Saturday night, the attendance throughout the day being large, and the spacious building being thronged at night, right up to the hour of closing. The takings at the door just exceeded the splendid total of £3OO, which is over £l3O more than last year.

On Saturday a show of children’s pets and dogs was held, and a dog trial took place. Before the closing of the Show Mr J. S. Bond. President of the .Association, addressed the crowd, and referred to the success of the exhibition, which had exceeded the most sanguine anticipations of the Committee. Ho thanked all who had worked so hard to ensure that success, aud said that everything had passed off most satisfactorily, no hitch or friction being experienced throughout the five days.
