THAMES v PIAKO

The Piako reps- journeyed to the Thames on Saturday last to try conclusions with the reps, from the land of the deep level schemes. The match took place on the Parawai ground, and a fair number of spectators were present. A good game resulted, but the doughty Thames Eugbyites were not to be denied, and won the match by 11 points to nil. For Piako, B. Miller and Weir shone out conspicuously.
