Taylor-Carrington Pictures.

SUCCESSFUL ENTERTAINMENT.

The ever popidar Taylor-Carrington Company gave one Of its humanised picture shows in the Te Aroha Public Hall on Tuesday evening last. As per usual there was a good attendance, notwithstanding the inclement weather. Many of those present came a long distance in order to be present; feeling confident that the class of entertainment would be well woith seeing, and they returned to their homes satisfied that their confidence had net been misplaced. Among the many star items the marvellous realistic pictures, “The Motor Car Heroine,” “ Wilbur Wright’s Flying Machine,’’.and “Through Venice in a Gondola ” appeared to be the most popular, and brought forth prolonged a) plause. Giving such satisfying entertainments as that presented on Tuesday is one of the rear ms why the TaylorCarrington combination are always greeted by full houses. At the close of the entertainment Mr Taylor briefly returned thanks, and stated that he purposed returning in ■ about six weeks’ time, and staging one of Lis dramas. This announcement was greeted with applause.
